SWIT (Southwest Innovation & Technology Co. Ltd.) is the innovation subsidiary of Odu’a Investment Company, Nigeria’s largest regional investment group.Our mandate is to catalyze socio-economic transformation in Southwest Nigeria and beyond through innovation and technology.We are accelerating the next wave of health, agriculture, energy, climate, materials, and frontier tech startups from Southwest Nigeria.Helping scientists, engineers, and technical founders move from proof-of-concept to real-world impact, combining Odu’a’s market access, catalytic capital, and a structured commercialization program.

About the Program

The SWIT Accelerator is a 7-month journey designed for deep-tech ventures or research spinouts that have already demonstrated a proof-of-concept (PoC) or prototype stage and are ready to engage with customers, partners, and investors.Pre-Accelerator (4 months, Nov ’25 – Feb ’26):
40 startups sharpen their problem–solution fit, validate applications with customers, and secure pilot commitments.Accelerator (3 months, Mar – May ’26):
The top 10 ventures receive $50,000 equity investment, execute pilots with Odu’a subsidiaries and partners, gather evidence of value, and raise follow-on funding from our investors network.

Who Should Apply

We are looking for ventures that are:

  • Research-driven and science-based, grounded in engineering, life sciences, agritech, energy/climate, materials, or frontier tech.

  • Pilot-ready - can design and run customer pilots within 6–12 months or already doing so.

  • Tackling big problems with potential for large-scale impact.

  • Led by committed teams with exceptional technical expertise and the ambition to build scalable companies.

  • We are building a pipeline of ventures that can create a transformative impact in Southwest Nigeria. Startups with a clear link to the region, whether by co-founder origin or operating base, will be prioritized.
